Rubber Duck Princess Birthday Party

My llittle one loves her rubber ducks so for her second birthday I decided to use it as a theme. I wanted it to be very girly so I chose the cute duckies with tiaras making it a rubber ducky princess birthday party :)

- Party Favors were made with recycled plastic baby food containers. Decorated with ribbon, platic spray paint and a tiara comb (Party City).
- Instead of a happy birthday banner I used a large frame. Letters and numbers were cut with a Cricut and the princess duck was a compilation of two pictures I found online.
- Rubber ducks with tiaras (Oriental Traiding).
- Goodie bags (Dollar Tree) filled with easter candy, pencil, bubbles and play dough.
- Strawberry waffle cookies and pretzels with yellow vanilla candy.
- Cupcakes from my local grocery store and I made my own cupcake toppers using MS Word.

For the birthday girl I made a fabric crown and decorated it with a rosette and tiara rhinestone.

To entertain the kiddos I had two activities:
- Decorate your own crown/tiara (Oriental Traiding).
- Paint a duck or princes.

Craft Show

Finally, I was able to take some decent photos of my booth at a craft show :)

Repurpose frame with chicken wire to hand small greeting cards.

Repurpose Shelve converted into a hair bow hanger holder.

Best part of every show is being able to make someone fashionable, in this case this cute little dog!!!

Oz Evanora & Theodora Halloween Costumes

After watching the movie 'Oz The Great and Powerful' I instantly though of what my girls would be for halloween. I search all over for an Evanora & Theodora costume and the only thing I found was adult costumes. So, I decided to make my own :)

Green & Black Tutu dress for Evanora. Made the headband using green feathers, green rhinestone and a black diamond shape card stock paper.

Red & Black Tutu dress for Theodora. Made the hat with card stock paper and cover it with red fabric.

Happy Halloween!!!

Father's Day Gift for Hubby

This year I decided to make a photo collage with the girls holding letters to make the word "PAPA" which is dad in spanish as a father's day gift for my hubby. I seen this done before but with DAD so I thought I should changed it up.

Entryway Frame Wall

I would like to share what me and my hubby did on our empty entryway wall. I love pinterest and after a lot of ideas and confusion we decided to work with some items we already had in our home. While looking in our attic we found some old picture frames and wall decor. We bought the initial of our last name, 'Our Family Grows With Love' wall decor and printed new photos. After playing jigsaw puzzle for a couple of days we finally got it organized to both our liking.

Unicorn Rainbow Themed 1st Birthday Party!!!

Here are some photos of my little one Unicorn Rainbow Themed 1st Birthday Party!!!

Main table! The table had birthday cake, smash cake, rainbow cookies (Chips Ahoy! Candy Blasts), Rainbow Treats (Fruity Pebbles Treats), candy rainbow (Twizzlers Strawberry Blast Pull-n-Peel), glass cylinders filled with Jolly Rancher Jelly Beans and pinwheels.

Favors:
- Play Dough from LoveBubs
- Rainbow Hair Clip (5/8" rainbow ribbon, 3 fluffy pom pom, 3/8" light blue ribbon & alligator clip)
- Super Miracle Bubbles Bottles

We rented a pavilion at a state park with 5 picnic tables. To make them pretty without spending to much money, I put a center piece on each table. Center piece was a plastic cup with different types of lollypops and beside it a ceramic unicorn that I got some time a go at a dollar store.

Pinata Time! I made this pinata with a brown grocery bag, tissue paper, red card stock paper and ribbon. First you make some cuts on the bottom of the bag and insert around 5 ribbons that are approx. 36" long. Then you start covering the bag with tissue paper make sure to start from bottom to top.  To cover bag I cut the tissue paper in strips that were 4" wide, cut slits to make fringe and taped or glue them around the bag. After covering the bag I added a number 1 being that it was my girl 1st birthday. The last step is filling it up with candy, because this birthday was after Easter I was able to snag really good candy and toys :)

Smash Cake!!!!

I got this cute yellow ruffle jumper on Ebay and the headband I made myself.

Big sis had a great time too!!! I made the birthday banner that is around the radio flyer using a Cricut Machine each scallop was approx. 8".
